     The french-termed hair trend is called Ombre. The ombre hair refers to a hair style with dark roots fading to light colors at the end.It has been a trend to most of Hollywood actresses like Chanel Iman, Jennifer Hudson, Naomi Campbell, Raven-Symone.  I tried to do an ombre hair style to myself and here's a tutorial for you guys.
